Skipped the Harrisonburg road ride, back tire has some cuts so it was FountainHead. 1st lap 50'30" going about 90%. 2nd lap was harder. Front end nearly washed out several times. Saw 48'14" on the clock at the bottom of SOB and opened it up all the way. Looked down after hitting the asphalt at the exit and saw 49'59". Fell over in the grass. Side hurt pretty bad from the effort. That was my goal, sub 50 min lap. Next year...45 min?
If I get my new 25mm Michelin Krylions in time I wanna do the Alpine Loop per Jeremy Bishop next weekend. He says its his fave road ride. Maybe there's magic in them Harrisonburg hills. JB is fast as hell.
I just want to keep up on his recovery ride pace.
