Have been doing alot of killer riding lately. Last weekend it was 50+ trail miles near Harrisonburg, VA. This weekend it was about 95 miles on Skyline Drive. Crazy drivers act like they have never seen trees change colors or a bear. Avg speed for last 3 rides was 14.7 mph, best was 15.2. I was all worried about lightening my 88 Schwinn Prologue from it's hefty 23 lbs. I am losing alot more off my hefty a**. Down to 158.6 yesterday from about 195 Jan 1. Speed this weekend on the climbs shows the most improvement. From the Drive entrance station to the Dickey Ridge visitor center is my little time trial. I got 26.75 min yesterday with sore legs @ a steady 8-9 mph. What a change from May when I could not maintain 7 mph. Gotta go! My rugrats are beckoning!
