After following posts about the 6 Gaps of Vt ride and planning to go up there in May to ride it I decided I could do it here for fun, training, and general cyclismic (real word?) suffering.
Yesterday's ride filled the need for those things well. For the few miles I have gotten since September when I rode the SM100 I held up well. The weather fairly cooperated with the air temps getting up to about 50, according to TWC forcasts. Compared to my last 2 long rides this month that ended in mild-moderate hypothermia yesterday was glorious. Unfortunately, they were right about the winds, which were evil and fascist, pretty much in my face for the majority of the day except for the last 30 miles. Yes, I rode my bike all...day...long!
