Test ride: El Mariachi

I managed to hook up with a fellow MOREon at Wakefield today. RJ brought his SS El Mar and I brought my Truth. COLD day! Low to mid 20s and windy as hell,but warmed up with a little pedal time. We swapped pedals and hit it. This was my first SS ride since youth and 1st 29er ride and I am impressed. 23 lbs, nice. Steel, nice. I barely noticed the total lack of suspension, El Mar is rigid steel. The small frame size is fine. I am only 5'6" but I actually felt a little cramped on the reach to the bars. I would like to be a little more stretched out. But I will hold off on any changes until I get alot more saddle time. Mission accomplished, I will most probably get one this next week.
